Luggage and Travel. How good are you at packing your suitcase and make sure you don't pay any extra because it's way over the limit allowed?

We all know that whenever we travel by plane there's only so much we can carry in our hand luggage. And more often than not we always end up paying more because our suitcase just weighs too much and oversteps the limit allowed. So what kind of traveller are you? Do you travel with minimal luggage or do you have to take your whole wardrobe with you wherever you go?

I pack minimal luggage, because I only pack what I need and unless I'm going to Iceland, then I'll be taking minimal luggage with me back home, I don't know how to splurge money and I'm not that materialistic, so just the vacation itself will be enough.

Besides, unless I’m moving to a new place and packing all my stuff there’s no need for me to have large luggage cases.
I never understood what people put in those when they walk around the airport with a mountain of stuff on a trolley

I travel with the minimum, and always wear the heaviest or most bulky stuff on the plane (especially boots if I will need them, a jacket and such). Even then, there's always something in my suitcase that I end up not wearing or using.

I used to leave some space in my suitcase when I travelled alone to accomodate some toys for my little kid. She used to leave little hints of what she wanted.

Pretty good. I usually take the bare essentials and buy anything else I need while I'm there. So it's usually medication, onenor two extra pairs of clothes, my phone, wallet and such.

Pretty easy for me. I've never had an issue with it. I travel pretty light for trips less than 2 weeks. I take a duffle bag and it's always under the limit. A few shirts. A couple dress shirts, 2 khakis, 2 shorts, 1 dress pants, 1 swim trunks, a comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss, travel sized coconut oil, dress shoes, and runners (that I'm usually wearing). I wear a coat (in case it gets cold) and when it gets too hot, I tie it around my waist. Easy peasy.

I am very good at traveling light. Basically if cannot fit in my pack (that fits under a seat or easily in the overhead) its not going. Its been a long time since i checked a bag ( Australia since its mandatory) I was an Airline brat so I have traveled the world and know what you really need to travel. People tend to way over pack.
