What's the difference between Disney land and Disneyworld?

So other then them being in different states what's the difference? does one have more to offer then the other? Have you been to both? I've only been to Disneyland so I have no clue which one is better.

I've been to both. Disney World is much bigger, with several different lands, while Disneyland is basically just the Magic Kingdom, pretty much identical to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World.

Yes, much more, you can spend an entire week at DW and not see and do everything. You can pretty much cover all of DL in a day.

Disneyland is like the Magic Kingdom, which is only one of the parks at Disney World. Last time I was at Disney World they had 5 parks.

You can fit several Disneyland parks inside Disneyworld.
