Have You Driven or Rode on the Left or Right Side of the Road, Depending on the Foreign Country?

I've recently experienced travelling on both these Systems, what are your experiences? Is one System better than the other?

I've driven on both sides of the road. My home US on the right, UK and Australia on the left.

So long as the car matches the side of the road (left-hand vs right-hand drive) there's not much difference between the two. You just keep the passenger side of the vehicle next to the curb/kerb and pretty much follow the vehicles in front of you.

Driving a proper RHD car on the left side is not much of a challenge. But crossing over with an LHD car to an RHD country is one, especially in cities.

I've never driven in a Foreign city, but I think I'd follow everyone else, and that would make my decisions easier than on a quiet roads. Providing everyone was going to the same place as me 🙂

Driving on the left wasn't that much of an adjustment for me. The gearshift being on my left side... That fucked with me.

I have always driven on the right-hand side of the road, as most of the civilized world does.

They are fun and generally very reasonable cost wise. Cruises through some of the islands are sometimes very reasonable and you get to visit several islands in one trip.
