How do people survive the cold weather if they’re from a warm weather place?

Especially tourists! Like i went to japan in November 2 years ago and it was so cold and through December must be way worse!! I’m from Hawaii and our average day temperature is 70-80 degrees!

You adapt and layer accordingly! I grew up along the equator and moved to some really cold countries for work. I can now barely stand the heat when I head back but still feel myself getting more used to it as time passes

It was difficult, my muscles were numb, i couldn’t walk properly, i didn’t have the right clothes because i didn’t know it would be so cold.
