My wife is from the Philippines and it's absolutely beautiful and the people are amazing. Just stay away from the southern region. Thailand is nice and has amazing food but the people aren't as friendly as Filipinos. And nobody parties harder than Filipinos

I think the Philippines is more interesting, but I know one person who was kidnapped during a too week vacation there, and another who was murdered during a two week vacation there. I know a woman who married an abusive husband there that left her mentally ill. I know another guy from the Philippines that used to be part of a Filipino crime gang in Canada. One died of cancer and no idea what happened to the brother.
