Long ago, we've boondocked high up on Mount Shasta.

Aside from the challenge to get our off-road capable motorhome up there, hiking up higher on foot to find the perfect vantage point for "roughing it up" tent camping was quite memorable.

Among our favorites is Yellowstone National Park.

I like road trips. What I have lost all enthusiasm for is flying. Between access to airports being miserable with traffic and TSA lines, equipment failures, flight crew shortages, sketchy FAA personnel coverage, and costs, flying has lost its appeal. I'd much rather take a car or my bike (motorcycle) on a backroad cruise to nowhere in general while avoiding cities as much as possible.
