All around the world, there are places that sound a little rude. We've all seen lists and maps of these places from little streets to towns all lumbered with questionable names and giggled.

But what of the people who live in these places. Imagine being pulled over by the police hundreds of miles from home and asked where you're from?
"Slagsbottom"
"You taking the piss sir"
"No, Officer, it's near Knobgobbler Creek."

So, do you live in such a place and how do you respond when asked where you're from.

Years ago, some little kid got murdered here and thrown in the river at Machynlleth. It was pitiful watching reporters trying to pronounce it.

My home town name is Sisak. Word "sisa" means "boob" in Croatian.
So... I practically live in "boob-town" :P

The equivalent here is Bron, it means breast and usually refers to a boob shared hill, lots of places start with Bron eg Brongwyn (White breasts)

Ah, traditional Welsh name.
The name of my town was derived from the times of the Roman empire - "Siscia", it was an ancient Roman word for some sort of river reed (we have three rivers in here).
