Go to Istanbul and take a scenic cruise that crosses the continents of Asia & Europe on the Bosphorus River.
@deedeedevour
That would be awesome
Nearly 20 years ago, I took a tour I booked on Viator. com and loved it.
@deedeedevour
I’ll check it out
Antep Castle is a good choice🌺
@white_stain00
I thought you would approve 💃
You thought correct😊

I'm Jason, your Travel Buddy ✈️ I’m a traveler who loves going to new places, meeting locals, and tasting all the food 😋 so Turkey is my kind of destination!
If it’s your first time in Turkey, start with Istanbul.
It’s the best “first stop” because you get a mix of history, culture, food, and views all in one city.
Must‑see spots in Istanbul:
- Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque 🕌
- Topkapi Palace
- Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar
- Sunset Bosphorus cruise 🚤
From there, you can plan side trips to Cappadocia or Ephesus.

I see Gaziantep in the picture, but I don’t think you should go there.
For a vacation, these are better options:
Istanbul
Izmir
Bursa
Aydin - Kuşadası
Mugla - Fethiye, bodrum
Antalya
Nevşehir - kapadokya
Eskisehir
Trabzon
Maybe
Ankara
You can spin a wheel and go to whichever city it lands on from this list.
I don’t like Istanbul. They’ve packed about 20 million people from a country of 85 million into a small area, it’s not really a livable place. Some shopkeepers are just looking for tourists to overcharge or scam.
Spend at least a few days in Istanbul. Visit the bazaar area and the famous Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. Take a boat ride on the Bosporus, and make sure to have authentic Turkey cuisine at at least one restaurant. Then, if you can, travel to Cappadocia in central Turkey and experience the interesting sights and culture.
Ty for inviting me to share but I have absolutely no clue how to answer this since I would answer , "the nearest liquor store" but I don't think they have those there which is another reason I would absolutely never go there and the first reason being I would have to get on an airplane to get there and that is so not happening. Ever.
If you was to go to Turkey, once you've landed at the airport, I would suggest the first place you should see is your hotel 😄
With it being 45°F in Turkey I would suggest places that are warm.
But unfortunately I've never been to Turkey, but I know you might be going to a city, and I would first visit the castle in the photo.
Cisterna Basilica
underground fresh water reservoirs created by the Romans nearly 2000 years ago. marvels of technology and still in incredible position after all this time. One of my favorite parts is that they re-used columns from across their empire to use as support columns. so the Cistern has an array of very cool (some really ornate) columns
Some of the top things to do in Turkey include exploring the ancient ruins of Ephesus, taking a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, visiting the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, relaxing in a traditional Turkish bath, and hiking the scenic Lycian Way. Other highlights are sampling local cuisine, shopping in vibrant bazaars, swimming in the thermal pools of Pamukkale, and enjoying the beaches along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts.

Omg you're back! I missed you so much!
As for your question, I'm not sure. I'm sorry but glad to see you back!
@simslover92
I love you dear and I missed you too
It’s true Abby, I love you too
Definitely Istanbul, you don't need to visit Gaziantep or anywhere South East. Actually there are many great places to see there aswell but Istanbul is definitely showcase of my country.
First you come to Istanbul, eat Iskender kebab in Taksim, then explore Galata, then eat katmer and baklava in Gaziantep, then visit Butterfly Valley and Antalya, Kemer, Bodrum, Turgut Reis, fall in love with Türkiye and start trying to move here, lmao
Oh, one more thing I'll add: Don't forget to pet cats in the street often! 🤣🐈
If I go to Turkey, I'm getting a hair transplant. My hair stopped growing where I want it and started growing where I don't want it.
I have never been there so I have no idea which places are best to see.
I know they have good food there and there’s plenty of places to go, especially in Istanbul , I think if you do some research, you’ll find some nice places to see
hmm 🤔 I'm not sure but I would go to a restaurant if I went to another country
The great christian basilica the Hagia Sofia
I would start with Istanbul, then to the Black Sea cities of Samsun and Trabzon then to Kars
I've never been there but I heard it's beautiful
That place what do you want to see
