Do sloths creep you out or completely melt your heart?

I took this pic of one of many sloth's I got to see in Costa Rica. Cutie was snoozing with it's claw over it's eye near the poolside in. Costa Rica... it is a National Geographic destination.

I think they are fascinating and adorable.
They move slow, aren't predatory and won't attack. Their claws are kind of intimidating, though. But, aside from those claws, they are lovable.

I'm a giant anteater fan. Love those crazy tails. Sloths are ugly-cute. A lot like smushed face dogs. Beauty is in eye of beholder. They don't melt me, as I'm sure you don't like anteaters!

Had a good ol friend of mine nicknamed "Sloth" because he was huge and covered in hair lol I suppose. Dude was a gentle giant that sadly died in 2014.

The only ones I've ever seen have been in zoos and they didn't creep me out. If I encountered one in a jungle after dark, I probably would be frightened until I realized what it was.
