Do hedgehogs ever poke each others eyes out?

The trick is to pack them in clay and bake them in a fire. When cracking them open, the stingy stuff is removed.
That's how the gypsies did it a while back before there was KFC.
As for their (internal) racial interaction, I am more concerned about mating - especially, when passion kicks in.
All hedgehogs I have seen were intact, however. I guess that they hide their casualties somewhere.
No, only bb guns and sticks poke eyes out. 🙄
I couldn't pick a stick up as a kid without being told, "You'll have someone's eye out with that."

i think that's why the spines go backwards. the genetic variation that went forward poked each other so no mating occurred.
dang that chocolate one looks tasty...
No, I've asked them, they've very conscious of their coats of spines and get quite offended if you mention it to them in a way that makes them feel self conscious.
Could happen I guess. Pro tip:bring in a badger for crowd control. The spiny little guys'll calm right down
I love this question I dont have an answer but I like it when people think this way and question.
I’m sure evolution has kept that from happening or they wouldn’t survive
Awhhhh poor hedgehogs !
But how do they poke each other without being pricked?
I do not know but I bet the little buggers would be tasty.
Stare at a couple of them for a few days and let us know if they do poke each other
Hedgehogs are so cute. I hear they make great pets.
No because Ron "Hedgehog" Jeremy has both his eyes !!!
Im not sure but I use to have one
They do not - and you are a monster!
No they're not like people
I wouldn't think so
Of course they do
Why wouldn’t they?
I'll poke yours out
I doubt it
