It's a very weird phenomenon for me. For some reason, animals have liked me very much since I was a child.
Ferocious dogs and cats behave clam and playfully with me. My maternal grandparents had a dog who hated all of my cousins and aunts. It only liked me. Stray or feral cats and dogs come to me or don't fear me, everywhere I go. Stray pregnant cats come to my porch for delivering babies. I can calm down horses easily.
I see some videos of cats being jerks to people but for some reason, even after handling and picking up many of the other cats they never scratched me. My problem is dogs and cats become too clingy to me.
I have recused some kittens before and my neighbors adopted them, neighbours do take care of them greatly but they run to my home whenever they get a chance.
Even I can pick up wild birds and they still don't fear me.
For some reason, I have never understood why.
