I love the fresh air, long hikes, quiet trails, and that feeling when you reach a viewpoint and see everything below you. Mountains give me adventure, calm, and exercise all at once. Beaches are fun for a few days, but in the mountains I feel more alive and focused.

Mountains are much cooler. It's 100+ every day and I have sand everywhere. I don't have water to go with it but there's a nice lake up in the mountains outside town. It's not the same as a true beach out by the ocean, but it's the best mix of the two I can have. A trip to the beach once a year or so is great, but I can hike up in the mountains and cool off from the hot summer, so it's the best choice for me, at least at this time of year.

Beach... Just love relaxing at the sea, feel the sun on my skin, enjoy some drinks and go in the water to cool down. I've always lived near the sea and don't want to miss it.

Love the view of the mountains, but not much of a hiking person.

More of a beach person. Mountains are high and difficult to climb and frequently cold and dangerous, and there's no good reason to be in them. The ocean, on the other hand, for me at least, is a warm, welcoming, soothing environment where I know how to survive and to be comfortable.

I love mountains and oceans but, I'm more of a mountain kinda guy. I've just spent a lot of my life in the wilderness on the side of mountains. It feels like home.

I sunburn easily, and not a good swimmer, so I'd prefer mountains where I can hike, get in the shade under trees, and find waterfalls.
