I wouldn't live in Los Angeles under any circumstances.

Cost of living is way too high, crime is an issue, too many homeless on the streets, and earthquakes are common.

I’m a Miami guy, but yeah, I like Los Angeles to vacation. Hopefully, I wouldn’t be around criminals that I would have to be shot at

I never liked Los Angeles. San Francisco is much more liveable, but almost ALL cities in the USA are hell-holes in one way or another.

If you’ve been shot several times in Los Angeles, your safety has to come first. As much as you love the houses and environment, that history is serious. I’d only consider living there again if:
- You can move to a much safer neighborhood
- You have strong support (friends/family/therapy)
- You feel genuinely safe, not constantly anxious

Otherwise, choosing a different city with a similar vibe but lower risk—like San Diego, Orange County, or even cities outside California—might be healthier for your peace of mind 🌍
