What injury did she get and how?
She was shot. It wasn't specified where but it must have been fatal. Probably in her head.
How did she end up in a position of her getting shot? Don't celebs have bodyguards or was this a Selena Quintanilla situation all over again with a crazy fan going psycho?

The person who shot selena quintanilla was her friend not a fan.
She was signing merchandise, supposedly sitting at a table, surrounded by fans. She's not famous enough to have expensive security I guess.
She wasn't killed instantly, she was shot a couple of times but died in hospital.
