What are your thoughts of giving flowers (roses, etc) to women?

Girls Have you ever received ones or never?
Guys Have you given them or not?

What do you think of that? Too corny, romantic, thoughtful or simply you dont care cause receiving or giving flowers does not mean nothing meaningful really?

In my particular case I have never ever ever received flowers from anyone, not crushes, not friends, no coworkers, nooone noone not even relatives.

I have a house, I love to garden, I grow several different types of flowers. Not roses though, rose bushes are too much work for too little payoff.

So sure, I give girls flowers all the time. I used to surprise my girlfriend at work with a bouquet every couple weeks during the spring and summer.

Then she dumped me and I'm alone. But its late fall, so my garden had died for the year anyway, the flowers aren't being left ungiven

Not counting my mother (who gets flowers regularly from me), I've given flowers and bouquets to girls several times. One time I gave a girl a $120 bouquet.

I also learned how to make origami flowers, and I give those to girls as a more unique and lasting gift. Since they're more skill than cost, I can give them to girls at random to make a strong first impression. I just gave one to a girl earlier this week in fact.

Yeah my boyfriend has bought me several bouquets of flowers. I think it’s really sweet. Especially if he gets my favorites. The best Time was while he was still working at the same place as me before he left he said oh I forgot something upstairs! Can you go get it? I go up and I see he left purple roses on my desk with a note ^_^. So sweet!

I've gotten flowers before. They are a sweet gesture but not really my type of gift. If they were some flowers that I really liked or fake flowers that would be better.

every women wants to get flowers from someone she's in a relationship with at least once and I've given flowers before and its romantic it shows u care and ur willing to spend money on her and on something that's gonna be gone in a few days but while u have them u will show everyone u can cause u will love the gesture but never just get it as the whole present

Flowers wilt and die, would you want them knowing that? best off just askin for the money instead and buying a bottle of wine n some chocolates n sit down to a movie

I think they are a waste of money. What are they used for? Just stand there for a few days and get thrown away. I've never given or received.

I think in most cases it is a waste of money. Maybe occasionally on a birthday or anniversary, but not Valentine's day or a random date.
