Unsurprising. Statistically this is the norm both in the abuse (70% of nonreciprocal violence between intimate partners is perpetrated by women against men) and in the refusal by society and the government to acknowledge that women are abusers (women are 160% less likely to be convicted of a crime, when they are actually convicted they get only a third of the sentence a man does for the same crime. Multiple social experiments show that if a man so much as yells at a woman, people will be their to intervene but if a woman is openly beating a man in public even the police ignore it.).

Now is it despicable? Absolutely, she is a disgusting and terrible human being that deserves to suffer all the consequences that Depp is now forced to suffer through, but again, if a woman does wrong you can rest assured that justice will never be had, its just how this world is currently structured they have all the power and none of the responsibility.

to me the only disgusting thing about this is the fact they both chose to attack each other in the realm of public opinion... like reaaly its nothing to do with anyone but them and the courts and as such i make no other judgement than they are both shallow attention whores

Sounds like they were mutually abusive. But none of us were there to witness it either way. He said, she said is unprovable. If all this negativity was going on, why did they stay married? Both of them seem damaged. But, as someone else said, it's none of our business. Getting jollies or taking sides with people we know nothing about personally is a waste of time.

The defamation case against the Sun showed that the system is biased against men to a degree that makes the situation hopeless, therefore there is no justice for men.
The only thing that men can do to protect themselves is to walk away, go MGTOW monk and refuse to interact with women.

I don't know what to think about that anymore. Apparently Johnny maybe did actually hurt her also. I don't know if it was justified or after or before she hurt him or if it even happened at all. People are very emotional about this case. People who like Johnny don't want to believe he would do that... I certainly don't.

Then there's a lot of woman who know all about abusive relationships and really want amber heard to be telling the truth. Even if they know she's crazy. Which at this point it's pretty obvious she is. But that doesn't mean she couldn't have been provoked. It's kinda hard to form an opinion when the details are so hard to get a hold of.

It's absolutely vile and I feel sorry for the poor bloke. I'm so glad it came to light that she was the one being abusive! He admitted to abuse which I believe was most likely self-defence. It's absurd how she is still employed!

I specifically hated when in court she was laughing, scoffing, eating, rolling her eyes when she was listening to the tape of her and Johnny arguing. By that I could tell she was just sick! Like, if she wants people to take her seriously she shouldn’t be showing that type of attitude.

Can not make an assumption based on he said she said. If there is evidence of abuse than yes. However if a woman acts like a teenage brat towards an accomplished man its clear to see who is who. I've always loved JD so... its their business none of mine. If he lets her do this its his fault just as it is hers, neither of them pay my bills so their drama is irrelevant to me...

I don't know all the details, but many people seem to be taking Depps Side. The ruling doesn't surprise me. The Justice System in the west is biased against men. I don't want it to be Saudi Arabia, but some women are not worth the time of day.
