Is "Pieing" Funny?

"Pieing" has become an epidemic. I'm not sure what has caused its resurgence from the days of silent film over 100 years ago, but there is no denying it has become a ubiquitous form of expression. It seems that these days, instead of a Charlie Chaplin or Fatty Arbuckle-type individual, the victims are almost always female. And often times, it is the direct result of an angry exchange. But of course this isn't always the case. How do you feel about pieing? Is it funny... or is it something else? VOTE!

You are arguing something else. I am saying that pieing is an epidemic right now in the world. The pics I posted are examples. Some are staged and some are real. For you to claim that the actual pieings happening in modern times are all with fake pies is totally a guess. I can't accept you as a serious person.

I would probably tease a family member if she repeatedly came home with a pie grill. But I guess if I was the one wearing pie, it wouldn't feel very good to be laughed at or heckled. So I understand what you are saying. Just curious, what part of the US are you from?

This whole thing sorta makes me wonder if all of us had crystal balls when we were kids and we could see into our own future, how would we react? You know what I mean? Like if when you were 6 years old and you saw yourself getting pied as a grown woman, how would that make your child self feel?

People have suspected that but there has been no confirmation and all evidence so far is circumstantial. Furthermore, I don't feel comfortable pie or cheese-shaming someone. It's bad enough that this stuff happens so why make it worse? I think as a society, we have forgotten how to be compassionate. There's so much racial tension, pandemic fatigue, & insurrection madness. Thanks, Donald Trump. My country has turned into one gigantic nightmare. :(
