Chauvin. Rittenhouse is just some idiot kid who doesn’t know his ass from his elbow, he went out with bad-camouflaged-with-good intentions for sure, but I think in his own underdeveloped mind, what he was attempting to do was heroic, or at least admirable. I think shit ended up getting more real than he expected, or at least the actual realness of what transpired vs his IDEA of what it would be were wildly different. This is why I don’t like glamorization of guns. Even in a self-defense situation, if you feel no remorse or traumatization after shooting and killing someone, there’s something wrong with your brain. But they don’t tell you about that part at the gun range, I’m guessing, it’s just hardo talk, like “come and try me, criminals!”, which for some reason seems to give some people a weirdly throbbing erection, lmao.

Anyway, the kid fucking ugly-cried on the stand yesterday lmfao, the situation obviously shook him up. That doesn’t absolve him from what he did, necessarily. The problem isn’t really what he did while he was in Kenosha, it’s that he went in the first place. That may not be the technical “crime”, but it’s the problem, the dumb vigilante mentality that he should have involved himself. But he at least passes the “human test”, in that I believe he’s not a straight up psychopath, he just fell in love with the idea of violently engaging with supporters of a cause he opposed. But the dream clearly did not match the reality. Either that, or this kid is the next Daniel Day Lewis and he knows when to turn on the waterworks for sympathy, because I believed his tears. I’m sure he’s been coached by his legal team to not stifle himself, that it’s good for his case, I’m not naive, but no one cries that ugly unless it’s real lmfao.

Chauvin…. that dude is a supposedly trained officer of the law, and a grown adult. The difference between firing a gun at a guy rushing you when you’re backpedaling like “oh shit, oh shit, oh shit…!!!” is a lot more explainable as a poor snap decision than kneeling on a civilian’s neck for nine minutes while they plead for their life.

If anything, Chauvin. It is perfectly obvious that Kyle Rittenhouse was defending himself. This entire trial is a complete waste of time and money.

Chauvin was worse. Yes, Rittenhouse went out looking to murder, instigated people, and then murdered them claiming self-defense for the altercation that he began, but that's what white supremacist garbage does. It's expected. But Chauvin? He was a cop. Sworn to serve and protect. They're the people you're supposed to be able to trust. He violated that trust and broke his oath. The lowest pits of Hell are reserved for oath-breakers, they say...

Can't really compare the two.  One murdered a restrained man, where the other has an ongoing case for murdering many who were defending themselves against a gun nut.

Chauvin for sure. Shittenhouse put himself in the middle of a riot, and got beat. Chauvin wasn’t even threatened. He knelt on the guys neck for no reason other than he could.
