There's a monkeypox outbreak in the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain and other European countries. The outbreak is small — so far 68 suspected cases, including eight in England and 20 in Portugal. Cases in Canada and a case in the U. S. have also been reported.

New cases in the United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal are spreading possibly through sexual contact, which had not previously been linked to monkeypox transmission.

Having a PhD in biology I'm actually quite surprised to only be hearing about reports, also I find it rather ironic that COVID-19 vaccines were made by using chimpanzee live enzymes or the likes of still related to chimpanzee/monkey enzymes to make the vaccine and now we have "monkeypox"? Or am I only being paranoiad, I think not!

I am not worried about Monkeypox on its own. However, I am extremely worried about how the government will react to it and I am worried that they will force another lockdown for God knows how long. It's bad enough I lost one year of college due to COVID which forced my classes to be online (therefore I couldn't have any fun, make any friends, or talk to attractive women). Now, if another lockdown happens due to Monkeypox, I might as well give up on trying to do any of the aforementioned because after college, there is no fun, there are no genuine friendships, and attractive women aren't real people (unless they're rich and used that money for necessities to be or remain attractive after 23 or 24, but then again, men who aren't rich are essentially banned from even talking to attractive women after college as a result of economic barriers caused by women who demand that men outearn them just to be friends with them).

Trump is out of office so we won't be locked down. We only had to do that because the MAGA community went around coughing on people, calling the virus a hoax, etc.
