Uh, no - it gets more attention because there's an actual war going on in Ukraine, and in our idiot government's infinite wisdom, they actively suppress information about unrest in Iran because they want to cozy up to Iran over Saudi Arabia and Israel. Prior to the war breaking out, Ukraine got exactly zero attention in US news.
