Is the neo-Nazi/white supremacist problem in Ukraine overplayed by Russia or white washed by the "West"?

I would go with option C.

You hear a lot of people claiming on one side that Ukraine has a serious Nazi problem just look at what happened in 2014 (although the Far-right parties responsible for the coup have less than 2% of the electorate) while others say "no it's overblown; how could Ukraine have a Nazi problem if they have a Jewish president (but that's like saying how could America have a racism problem if we had a black president TBH).
in my opinion, Neo-nazis, white supremacists, etc... are a serious problem all across eastern Europe (Russia included) and the problem is that we're focusing way too much on Ukraine. Back in 2006 amnesty international declared violent racism in Russia out of control with skinheads beating migrants from Central Asia and the Caucuses on a regular basis in major cities. You also have the private military company the "Wagner Group" routinely deployed around the world by the Kremlin where getting officially registered soldiers involved would be to politically costly (or the atrocities committed would be bad PR). This organization is named after Hitler's favorite musician and the founder Dmitry Utkin has SS lightning bolts tattooed on his neck. This group first popped up in Crimea in 2014 where they became known as Putin's "little green men".
You also have paramilitary organizations like the Russian imperial movement linked to white supremacists around the world which have been active in Donbass when the war was raging 2014-2016.
So Tankies complain about how the weapons going to Ukraine are going to end up in the hands of white supremacists? Well perhaps but they'll also be used to kill white supremacists on the other side of the battle lines.
White washed by the West
Over-hyped by Russia
Over focused on Ukraine
