Apparently this "vengeance" nonsense has been temporarily cancelled. But persecution against Christians will, in some form or another, continue to get worse

The whole world will turn on Christians on the day of the anti christ, aka some dummy who will trick most of the population to believe he is God, don't be fooled as christ will return with an army of angels. This anti christ will force people to put the mark of the beast and that is what will allow people to live normally, if you refuse to put it on, you will be hunted and killed, just another biblical prophecy, I also heard the temple that the antichrist will sit in is already planned to be constructed so the time is near.

I believe that they will at least try. In some places, they might be more successful than others.
