It vanished into the Twilight Zone. One day it will return, and when it does the passengers and crew will all say, "What is this place? Why has everyone gone insane?"

And then they'll take off again, and breathe a huge sigh of relief when they realise they came close to being stuck in this dreadful decade, but managed to escape.

I genuinely believe the plane is somewhere in the ocean. As far as what happened. I sadly don't think we will ever find out

For sure it's in the ocean nowhere to be found.

I wouldn't necessarily say never to be found. There have been ships sunk in the ocean over 30 plus years ago that explorers have found in the past 5 years. Look at the Titanic and how many years after that sunk they found it in the ocean.

I just feel even if they find the plane, they likely wouldn't be able to find the answers as to what happened because they have no way of retrieving the information on the black box

Facts. If the theories are real and the plane is in the Indian Ocean then it's going to be quite hard. The Indian Ocean is extremely deep.

There were some expert programmers involved in program development of something china wanted to control. The flight was commandeered and the people are all in prison for life or dead. Just like the chinese are doing right now with the Uyghurs

No way to know for sure, but apparently the pilot flew out of his way to overlook his hometown one last time. I believe it was a murder-suicide; the pilot’s passion was the air and that was how he wanted it to go down, but he couldn’t find a way to get in a plane alone without passengers. I think the co-pilot was locked out of the space or otherwise unable to contact air control for help in time, and the pilot nosedived into the ocean. Strange that not much has shown in terms of flotsam, but I suppose the ocean is vast and I think they might not have accounted for drift as much as they should have at the beginning.
Of course, it could have something to do with the Chinese government or something, but I think murder-suicide is most likely. The pilot cut off communication intentionally so that nothing could be done to stop it.
