I don’t think news of O. J Simpson dying , his body finally succumbing to cancer should be perceived as “justice”. The time for justice was his trial , and whether you believe he was guilty or innocent it’s what was considered by the jury day of his peers. Even if he was truly guilty of murder , would the life in prison sentence be justice? ( the prosecution never sought the death penalty ) like it or not , the justice system in America much like any other is NOT without flaws.

Having never taken much interest in the case, I assumed he was probably guilty, but it was a bit up in the air.

Having read more in connection with his death, I understand he was stalking her for I think a year after their divorce, he had been an abusive, threatening husband, and she was scared of him.

It seems completely obvious to me that he did do it. He even wrote a book entertaining the idea. And lost a civil case.

It is sad that those families never got justice for their loved ones.

I absolutely think life in prison for a vicious double homicide where a random bystander is one of the victims is getting off lightly. If I wasn't uncomfortable with the death penalty, I would say eye for an eye seems fair.
