I don't celebrate anyone's death date. I remember them when they were alive, and if anything, I celebrate their birthday.

I do remember where I was when I first heard of MJ's death. I was sitting in a JetBlue plane at JFK airport, taxiing to the runway, watching the news, and a news bulletin came on the screen. Within minutes, everyone on the plane had their screens tuned to the news, and some women were crying.

I really do not think about it much. It's not like when Elvis or John Lennon died. When Elvis find it was the last time I flew out to Oklahoma to see my ex girlfriend and when John Lennon died I was in bed with my wife watching TV and we switched on the news.
