And the alternative? Let Putin have Ukraine? Then Poland next? Finland too? Everybody knows what he wants. Countries shouldn't be able to invade other countries to take them. If Russia starts invading other nations we'll have to deal with them directly so our troops will be fighting at that point. Either way we'd be at war.

If you think he's gonna push the button for nuclear war then I don't know what to tell you. Because there's no outcome where he comes out winning if he does that. Russia will be turned to glass after America, England, France and other allies launch there's at them. It's a no win situation and Putin isn't suicidal.

The alternative was not threatening to put US forces on Russia's boarder, the invasion would never have happened, there wouldn't be 1 million casualties and there wouldn't be the looming threat of nuclear war.

Are you a retard? Nobody wins in nuclear war. Cities vapourised in infernos, radiation, radioactive fallout, irradiated food and water, tumours, cancers, climate change, nuclear winter that blots out the sun for years, starvation on and on. Why do you think NATO the most powerful military in history dares not invade Ukraine.

Nobody wants to invade Ukraine. What for? Why? They were minding their own business and Putin wanted to invade and takeover, just like he wants to takeover poland and other countries. He's trying to rebuild the USSR. He has no right to invade and conquer and rape and pillage. Russia absolutely 1000 percent are the bad guys. No ifs ands or buts about it.

The entire thing you just explained about nuclear war... Is the reason why they won't launch a nuke. Same reason why iran hasn't and North Korea hasn't even after all the times they've threatened. If you understand what nuclear war can do... Don't you think the leader of Russia does too? So if he knows everybody dies including him and his people, why would he launch a nuke?

Make that make sense to me. Why would he? If he already knows it's death to him and his people?

Asker Ukraine isn't a member of NATO. There was talk of them becoming a member, which is when Russia started moving it's military along the border. Russia didn't wanna be surrounded by NATO countries. It was Biden that made it clear he wasn't going to let Ukraine join. If they were a NATO country, all NATO countries would have boots on the ground.
