Elon Musk and DOGE uncovered a massive fraud taking place during the Biden administration.

Democrats were repeatedly denying that money spent by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) was being spent on illegals. They kept saying they were running out of money and needed more and didn't have enough to help the Americans in the Carolinas and other states after natural disasters there.

President Trump suspected it was because they were spending the money to put up the illegals in luxury hotels and GUESS WHAT! They WERE AND THEY STILL ARE! How many times did what this man said turn out to be EXACTLY right after the Democrats accused him of lying and tried to destroy him?

Some of the administrators at FEMA were told to immediately cut off funding for the illegals and they defied the order and shoved tens of millions more out the door to illegals.

I suspect following the money and the resulting lawsuits will take months and years but for now stopping the gravy train is enough to start saving money.
Trump has already expressed reservations of FEMA in association with the California effort so I'm guessing this org will not be around for long.
I presume the nice hotels are in the democrats cities and is the money is returned of, local government will have to make some decisions of their own.

Kristi Noem is the new Director of DHS and FEMA is part of DHS. Saw her out on a FEMA site on TV this week and they interviewed her. WHAT A DIFFERENCE from the previous bureaucrats who ran these departments! I mean it was like night and day! She was sharp, thoughtful, efficient and to the point with no BS. She was REALLY helping these people instead of ranting about climate change, racists, trans rights and orange man bad.
