DOGE has discovered that FEMA has recently sent over 56 million to NYC to pay for hotels for illegal aliens. Still think this is wrong?

That money is supposed to be for disaster recovery. It should be helping Hurricane victims in Florida and fire victims in California, Instead it is being squandered on illegal aliens who are just going to be deported soon. This is in direct violation of an executive Order that President Trump signed 2 weeks ago. I hope that the investigation shows who was responsible for this decision and that person needs to be prosecuted.

@WhiteSteve Insurance companies are private business. Before they sell a policy they look at the risk factors. They hire actuaries to calculate whether or not the risk is too high to write a policy for. California's policies to not clear away brush and dead trees and use accepted forestry management practices caused insurance companies to leave the state. The risk to lose money was just too high. They are not in business to lose money.
Now we have citizens who are the victim of an incompetent state government that failed to act in a responsible manner to keep it's citizens safe. We cannot leave them to sleep on the street. FEMA was created to help citizens who are disaster victims. It was not created to house illegal aliens.
it is a slap in the face for every citizen. These freeloaders will all be deported soon. If they did not get all these benefits probably half of them would self deport, saving the government the expense of deporting them.

Many cannot afford to hace cable TV so they just hac access to the 3 networks which are just state run media. As a result these people never heard about the Biden corruption scandal or hunter Biden's laptop. They also never saw the invasion at the southern border. Millions of people poured into the country and a whole segment of the population was unaware of the invasion. There are two hotels in the next town that have been leased by the state to house over 750 illegal aliens. In one of these hotels there was a rape of a 15 year old girl by one of the "newcomers" . The local TV stations did not report this and neither did the newspapers.
It was however reported on Fox News ans the NY Post.
