Things The Media Doesn't Like To Talk About This Week. Can you guess why?

1. Both retail and wholesale inflation were down significantly.

2. The stock market was up 2,000 points for the week.

3. House Republicans passed an historic budget resolution that will cut taxes and Draconian regulations as the first step towards passing a big beautiful bill that will result in lower taxes for Americans and liberate American businesses to make them the most powerful and productive in the world.

In fact, the tax bill swamps the effect of the tariffs. Tariffs are a less than 1% of GDP issue. All the headlines and pearl clutching and proclaiming it's the end of the world about the tariffs and barely a word about the far more important Big Beautiful Trump Bill which will put much more money in American's pockets than even the worst tariff outcome would cost them and add 4% growth to the economy more than five times the effect that any tariff outcome would have. A 5 TRILLION dollar tax cut versus a 300 something billion tariff issue. And it's entirely possible that we will come out ahead with President Trump's tariff agenda not behind. And all the headlines are about the tariffs.

And one more point about tariffs. If tariffs are so bad for the people in a country why has most of the world had tariffs that are much higher than we have here for the last 30 40 or 50 years? Is the entire world stupid? And why should ANYONE complain if America wants to have tariffs when they are tariffing the hell out of America?
