Make that almost 50 years since 1979 Iranian Revolution and the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty. The lunatics took over and established the Islamic Republic in Iran and immediately took 52 innocent American hostages during the Jimmy Carter presidency. They held them for 444 days until the very DAY and HOUR that the next president, Ronald Reagan, was inaugurated on January 20th, 1981.

They knew that Reagan would not tolerate their barbarianism and released the hostages the second he was sworn in.

Since then, Iran has slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent people all over the world in the name of Islam in thousands of terrorist attacks. The Iranian regime is composed of barbarians. It is the scourge of the planet.
