How much snow do you expect from the big storm that is expected over most of the US?

I am in the 12-18 inch range.

Apparently not as much as those southern states. I don’t know what they will do. They don’t have snow removal equipment and a lot of residents have probably never driven in snow. Our own forecast is all over the place in terms of expected snow fall amount. A the past two days we have heard every number from 4 to 30.

Up here they aren't giving any total amounts yet, just that we're getting a "stahm" that's gonna' go from Sunday nite to Monday nite and "could be heavy at times". Is it spring yet? 🥶

Here in the Southeast, we're expecting freezing rain and ice. That will make driving hazardous and ice on the overhead wires and trees will probably result in power outages. I'd rather have snow.

I'm in the Sierra Nevada foothills but just a few hundred feet below the snowline. So I don't expect any snow at all. It snows 20 minutes up the mountain east of me, though.

Approximately zero inches. There's some mountains about a hundred miles from here in the area called Big Bear (most of the bears up there dead). They get a little snow during the winter, but every once in awhile it'll drop like 7 ft of snow there in 24 hours
