There seems to be some disagreement among the groundhog community. Georgia's General Beauregard Lee agrees with Punxsutawney Phil , but Canada's Wiarton Willie predicts an Early Spring. What should we believe?

No! No! No! I am so denying any predictions made by a sleepy rodent! They should have just left him alone in hibernation, which is exactly where I want be after hearing there's going to be 6 more weeks of long, cold, horrible, miserable winter! Stoopid Groundhog.

Going to agree, sea temp is 1°C lower than it should be and that cold snap the USA has just had ain't going to send warm currents anytime soon and that means air temp will be low. Even the wildlife here seems to sense summer is delayed.

sure. and then there's this guy who sits on ant hills and thinks he can predict summers by how much the ants sting him. maybe just leave these kinds of things to the professionals.

@AviatorTom Where I live we are guaranteed at least 10 to 12 more weeks of winter. I can recall a few years ago a buddy & myself were still riding our snowmobiles on the snow the last week of April.

Maybe Groundhog saw what was going on with Trump, so he decided to ho hide for another six weeks, see if this situation will pass.
