I would be sorry for Trump's death, just as I would be sorry for the death of any person to whom this sort of thing happened. But I will also admit that I, in some ways, would feel very relieved, because Trump is a threat to every one of us. And given that, his elimination would make me feel somewhat easier, too. I would not, however, be pleased about this under any circumstances. If I could have stopped it before it happened, I would have.

As commander in chief, Trump is a legitimate target, that's how war works. By declaring war on Iran Trump has legitimatised strikes on himself and the American people. If the USA kills Iranian leaders then Iran is allowed to kill American one's. If the USA bombs Iranian oil refineries then Iran can bomb American ones.

However I suspect they don't have any plans to kill Trump because he's inflicting more damage on America than Iran ever could.
