I love how no one in the MAGA camp has any sense of nuance, and they think if you don’t support this, then you must want to join the Iranian Nuclear Weaponry Development Team. One of the many, many reasons why it’s headache-inducing to deal with these simpletons, lmao🤦‍♂️ But what else would we expect from the “if you disagree with Trump then you must hate America!” morons?🤡

I mean, AT VERY LEAST, Tulsi should have been out on curb with a box of her personal belongings first thing Monday morning, if Trump isn’t lying. She’s supposed to know that type of thing, that’s her job. Probably doesn’t help that Trump’s early second term antics have caused our previous allies to stop sharing a lot of their intelligence with us, since we’re no longer a “good guy” on the world stage and apparently have nefarious intentions as a government and we seemingly switched sides just overnight.

But just the whole “who said that? Tulsi? Well Tulsi’s wrong”….. that’s clearly a lie and that’s clearly just Trump doing what he wants.

One of Trump’s fatal flaws is that he’s an absolute buffoon who is so far in over his head as POTUS while simultaneously DESPERATE to convince everyone (and probably himself) that he’s the greatest to ever do it. He operates IN SEARCH OF legacy. This whole endeavor is way less about improving the country than it is him looking to have praise heaped on him whether he deserves it or doesn’t. He just wants people to cheer and applaud, and say “There goes my daddy!” when he passes by. It’s absolutely fucking pathetic, both him, and those who he gets that response from🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤡🤡🤡

We have no business attacking a country that is not attacking us, and that does not have any military capacity whatsoever to harm any American from Maine California.

Iran has no navy or air or sealift capacity to put a single Iranian soldier on the shores of New Jersey. It also has not a single long-range bomber that can reach New York City or any other US city, with or without a nuclear payload.

Moreover, its longest-range missile has a range of just 2,000 kilometers, which is one-fifth of the way to Washington DC, which is 10,000 kilometers away.

Iran has attacked Israel, which is a US ally. There is nothing "against national and international laws" to assist an ally by retaliating for that attack.

Had Trump gone to Congress first, it's likely that someone (most likely a Democrat) would have leaked the attack to the media, eliminating the element of surprise and putting our troops at greater risk.

US law requires Congress to approve a declaration of war, which this limited attack is not. Several presidents, Democrats and Republicans, have planned and made attacks on other countries without Congress approval. Obama's elimination of Osama bin Laden is a perfect example of that.

Iran has played this game for many years, saying they aren’t pursuing a nuclear bomb when they clearly are doing it. They would use a nuke which means they cannot have one.

Trump was Presidential here. I support him. I supported Obama when he committed to the Bin Laden raid even though that was fraught with risk as well. I trusted Trump and Obama to make the right call on these decisions because unlike George W. Bush they had no dreams of becoming a “war President”. They don’t want wars they want peaceful growth, even though in different ways.

I voted for Trump, not Obama, but that doesn’t mean I can’t support actions that are in the US’s interest. I wish Liberals could find the courage in themselves to do that too.

tbh, iran has been attacking US and US allies for decades. bombing US overseas just for shits and giggles. I don't really consider that peaceful. So anytime some president gets the balls to bomb their nuclear weapon facilities, I feel pretty good about it. You can never truthfully say Iran and no threats in the same sentence. They've been making threats AND carrying out attacks for so long. Ignoring the nuclear weapon treaty that they had... was grounds for a quick destruction of their unregulated and unchecked nuclear facilities.

Quick question: why, after the bombing did Iran start bragging about their sleeper cells in the US and threatening to activate them? Doesn't that make it pretty clear that they aren't "peaceful" if they've got people in the US waiting for a call to go into attack mode? That's planned terrorism.
