No judgement or silliness in this one. Curious your genuine thoughts on this. And what if other presidents did the same? Would your thoughts differ?

Yeah, those are the key words there: “with little to no proof of hostile intent & against national and international laws of war?”
I love how no one in the MAGA camp has any sense of nuance, and they think if you don’t support this, then you must want to join the Iranian Nuclear Weaponry Development Team. One of the many, many reasons why it’s headache-inducing to deal with these simpletons, lmao🤦♂️ But what else would we expect from the “if you disagree with Trump then you must hate America!” morons?🤡
I mean, AT VERY LEAST, Tulsi should have been out on curb with a box of her personal belongings first thing Monday morning, if Trump isn’t lying. She’s supposed to know that type of thing, that’s her job. Probably doesn’t help that Trump’s early second term antics have caused our previous allies to stop sharing a lot of their intelligence with us, since we’re no longer a “good guy” on the world stage and apparently have nefarious intentions as a government and we seemingly switched sides just overnight.
But just the whole “who said that? Tulsi? Well Tulsi’s wrong”….. that’s clearly a lie and that’s clearly just Trump doing what he wants.
One of Trump’s fatal flaws is that he’s an absolute buffoon who is so far in over his head as POTUS while simultaneously DESPERATE to convince everyone (and probably himself) that he’s the greatest to ever do it. He operates IN SEARCH OF legacy. This whole endeavor is way less about improving the country than it is him looking to have praise heaped on him whether he deserves it or doesn’t. He just wants people to cheer and applaud, and say “There goes my daddy!” when he passes by. It’s absolutely fucking pathetic, both him, and those who he gets that response from🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤡🤡🤡
Maybe if Captain Solyndra didn't secretly send giant pallets of hundreds of millions (or even more) of taxpayer dollars in cash to the current terrorist-supporting Iranian regime, then maybe the Iranian nuclear weapons program wouldn't have been as advanced as it was, and then it wouldn't have been necessary to bomb facilities that only existed for the sole purpose of enriching uranium to weapons grade levels to be used in nuclear bombs that in all likelihood would've used against us and/or our allies.
www.pbs.org/.../investigating-obama-administrations-400-million-payment-iran
So stop gaslighting people with your deliberate disingenuous dangerous diatribe bullshit. Try growing a brain and then try using critical thinking and common sense sometime.
That's not strictly true. In fairness to the MAGA camp, in this particular instance, they actually DO understand what's going on, and are strongly opposed to it - Marjorie Taylor Greene did an interview with Tucker Carlson just yesterday, where she made that very clear (she's not an outlier). It's the old school Republicans (the "neoconservatives") and those under the influence of lobbyists etc who want another war.
You mean "true", not "convenient". Your response isn't a legitimate opinion, and it's not a valid argument. I'm not surprised, because you haven't posted any legitimate opinions, and you haven't posted any valid arguments. Actual factual reality: Since the current terrorist-supporting, openly United States-hating Iranian regime took over Iran in 1979, no President of the United States other than Captain Solyndra has ever sent hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars over to said Iranian regime. Not Carter, not Reagan, not Bush 41, not Clinton, not Bush 43, not Trump, and not Biden. NONE of them. The truth hurts.
@MuddyMole Your observation is generally correct. Leftists deliberately conflate old-school conservatives and/or the fringe far-right with the populists who lean right (the vast majority of Trump voters) all the time to gaslight the masses.
As for the strikes on Iran (which I currently cautiously support), I reserve the right to change my mind those strikes lead to another "Iraq" and/or "Afghanistan". Fortunately, that's extremely unlikely.
It's Iraq WMD again, isn't it? AFAICS, in recent history, the US has got involved for one of two reasons:
There's a list of wars involving the US here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_wars_involving_the_United_States Do you think my categories stand? Which party's president started them?
Iran funds terrorist groups. Since the Iranian Revolution in 1979, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been accused by several countries of training, financing, and providing weapons and safe havens for non-state militant actors, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and other Palestinian groups such as the Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). These groups are designated terrorist groups by a number of countries and international bodies such as the EU, UN, and NATO, but Iran considers such groups to be "national liberation movements" with a right to self-defense against Israeli military occupation. These proxies are used by Iran across the Middle East and Europe to foment instability, expand the scope of the Islamic Revolution, and carry out terrorist attacks against Western targets in the regions. Its special operations unit, the Quds Force, is known to provide arms, training, and financial support to militias and political movements across the Middle East, including Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen.
So why would Trump not expect them to give these groups a nuclear bomb to do their dirty work? Better to nip it in the bud then to let it come to fruition. Plus, the citizens of Iran hate the current regime and would love to see it toppled.
@NoDecision you're spot on there
We have no business attacking a country that is not attacking us, and that does not have any military capacity whatsoever to harm any American from Maine California.
Iran has no navy or air or sealift capacity to put a single Iranian soldier on the shores of New Jersey. It also has not a single long-range bomber that can reach New York City or any other US city, with or without a nuclear payload.
Moreover, its longest-range missile has a range of just 2,000 kilometers, which is one-fifth of the way to Washington DC, which is 10,000 kilometers away.

I just find it amusing how the same crowd that voted for a "No more wars" president has turned 180 and now supports a war with Iran. Goldfish.
Iran has attacked Israel, which is a US ally. There is nothing "against national and international laws" to assist an ally by retaliating for that attack.
Had Trump gone to Congress first, it's likely that someone (most likely a Democrat) would have leaked the attack to the media, eliminating the element of surprise and putting our troops at greater risk.
US law requires Congress to approve a declaration of war, which this limited attack is not. Several presidents, Democrats and Republicans, have planned and made attacks on other countries without Congress approval. Obama's elimination of Osama bin Laden is a perfect example of that.
Iran has played this game for many years, saying they aren’t pursuing a nuclear bomb when they clearly are doing it. They would use a nuke which means they cannot have one.
Trump was Presidential here. I support him. I supported Obama when he committed to the Bin Laden raid even though that was fraught with risk as well. I trusted Trump and Obama to make the right call on these decisions because unlike George W. Bush they had no dreams of becoming a “war President”. They don’t want wars they want peaceful growth, even though in different ways.
I voted for Trump, not Obama, but that doesn’t mean I can’t support actions that are in the US’s interest. I wish Liberals could find the courage in themselves to do that too.
I'm pretty sure Libya or some other African country was overthrown under Obama, in part because the dictator there wanted to return to commodity backed currency
And also Obama killed a lot of people (including innocents) with drones and missile strikes
Not commenting to my comments that hurt your narrative I see
Americans sticking their nose in places it doesn't belong. The USA is a has-been and this is a weak attempt to show force internationally. Everyone knows they aren't going to invade and actually stop Iran from building nukes. It's delusional to think Iran doesn't have it's next move already planned. This will only escalate. Americans talk a big game but the reality is they don't have the stomach for battle and their bravery is bombing from 3k miles away. The Taliban showed the world that the US can be defeated with WW1 rifles and homemade bombs
The AK-47 was made during the Cold War, approximately 30 years after WW1
Are you claiming that the goat farmers that defeated the US military had modern equipment?
I strongly support Isreal, the Jews, Benjamin Netanyahu & Donald Trump.
If my close ally is being attacked by a nation of people and factions of terrorists who hate the Israelis & Americans with a passion, I'd avenge with debilitating force.
It's another indicator of the current corruption at the root of US and Western politics.
The demand for profit over people, ideology over humanity is just blatant now. The rich and powerful have popped their toxic heads up and are out to destroy people and their opportunities to get ahead.
dont like it, if someone else did that to usa, we'd declare war and wipe them out... like Japan. it's really an issue of power, we have it and trump stated make a deal and agree or else. they told him to screw off, so he bombed them.
were in power for now so get away with it. when we are not in power, we won't.
if china did this to taiwan, I suspect it be very bad right? his move was dangerous in setting precident.
This is by far and perhaps the only good thing Trump has done in office. No proof of hostile intent you are joking right? Iran has been a terrorist state forever and was trying to build nukes. Anyone with common sense don't want terrorists with nukes.
Iran is hostile to the US, and they want to use nukes against US so they need to be stopped. Trump was bombing nuclear facilities, not civilians, so it no against the laws of war.
tbh, iran has been attacking US and US allies for decades. bombing US overseas just for shits and giggles. I don't really consider that peaceful. So anytime some president gets the balls to bomb their nuclear weapon facilities, I feel pretty good about it. You can never truthfully say Iran and no threats in the same sentence. They've been making threats AND carrying out attacks for so long. Ignoring the nuclear weapon treaty that they had... was grounds for a quick destruction of their unregulated and unchecked nuclear facilities.
Quick question: why, after the bombing did Iran start bragging about their sleeper cells in the US and threatening to activate them? Doesn't that make it pretty clear that they aren't "peaceful" if they've got people in the US waiting for a call to go into attack mode? That's planned terrorism. I don't support it and I'm not even a little bit sorry.
Why are you anonymous- ashamed of your question?
Even if the regime screaming „Death to America“ isn’t enough proof of hostile intent , there’s the thousands of US citizens killed by Iranian regime proxies over the years, none of which was ever really responded to.
But you’re welcome to try to cite which law it laws you feel were violated. I expect to be underwhelmed.
"With little to no proof of hostile intent." Why let facts get in the way of your argument? Just deny everything we know.
You missed the point. Congress approval is required to strike another country, especially one in a two week negotiations period. Zero imminent threat. Then add in international laws.
he just needed another reason to kiss israels ass. I don't know what it is with israel that the entire western world is trying to kiss their ass. i mean i get it sort of from my country, germany. it's just that infinite guilt that we'll never strip. but why everyone else?
It is USA being USA, a liar and a criminal. Same as when the first Bush invaded Iraq over Kuwait stealing Iraq's oil through slant drilling and the second Bush invaded Iraq again for WMDs, when there were obviously none and it was a lie.
Now Iran has imaginary nukes.
I say this as someone who voted for Kamilla and hates trumps guts with a fiery passion but every single thing you said in your post is completely and totally wrong on so many levels it made me audibly groan and recline in my chair.
Well I wasn't for it. I think it makes us look bad in the world. But anyone with an I. Q. over 60 knows Israel is an ally. And that Iran has been attacking Israel through proxy for YEARS. So it doesn't take much common sense to understand how the the action while provocative can be justified.
I don’t know maybe Iran actually did have nuclear weapon while they got it from the Taliban remember when Joe Biden left all the US weapons in Afghanistan there’s rumors about the Taliban acquired a Nuke in one of
The military bases when all the troops left
I'm mixed, I find the claims dubious but like that he kept it to attacking the nuclear facility. It will have dismantled the warmongers argument for regime change.
I would very respectfully say that anyone who sincerely thinks there wasn't mountains of proof that Iran had hostile intent (and has openly had hostile intent for decades) would benefit from further research on the subject.
There is PLENTY of hostile intent. EVERY DAY.
Don't be so naïve; it's very unbecoming.
@abc3643 I was stating facts. In fairness. There was no reason to pull that move in that moment. In my opinion. But putting mine lone opinion aside to hear everyone else's here.
It's just another illegal thing felon Trump has got away with.
complain all you want he got rid of iran's nukes a good thing
Why is it everyone was perfectly fine with that for the past 50 years but, now that Trump actually did, it's a HUGE no-no?
Ya know when this record came out? 1979!!!
https://youtu.be/SJAWBAWZFVs
Maybe if he didn't tear up the painstakingly carefully crafted and SUCCESSFUL multination treaty just because it had a black guy's name on it This whole thing could have been avoided
Attacked based on lies you mean like that lie?
Solid proof it's a lie> https://www.bitchute.com/video/qD0Fg2vZlcup
The photo I attached is missing completely it was solid proof of a outright lie.
The U. S. will get what's coming to them, no worries.
Peaceful bombing is new oxymoron, I'm pretty sure Iran's missiles were peaceful too.
He bombed Syria during his first term, so not surprised he bombed Iran.
"no proof of hostile intent"? Are you insane?
What? "... with little to no proof of hostel intent..."? Where have you been since 1979?
Maybe if Captain Solyndra didn't secretly send giant pallets of hundreds of millions (or even more) of taxpayer dollars in cash to the current terrorist-supporting Iranian regime, then maybe the Iranian nuclear weapons program wouldn't have been as advanced as it was, and then it wouldn't have been necessary to bomb facilities that only existed for the sole purpose of enriching uranium to weapons grade levels to be used in nuclear bombs that in all likelihood would've used against us and our allies.
www.pbs.org/.../investigating-obama-administrations-400-million-payment-iran
I think he should have used nukes. Still can.
Considering the terrorism that they fund I feel it's about time. They've got agents already in America thanks to Bidens open border policy.
Iran has been launching missiles at the US and Israel for years.
I'm not a huge Trump fan, but I think He did right with this.
He's trying to distract the dumb American public from his attempt to turn the USA into an illiberal "democracy" ala Hungary.
It bothers me a lot. Though not as much as GWB launching a whole war on false premises.
he thinks he's obama, an bush at the same time
Trump doesn't need proof of any kind.
Trump does what Israel tells him to do
Pretty powerless. That half the country seems not to care.
I think it is sad that he is getting us embroiled in a conflict with Iran when Iran never directly attacked the USA.
I think it's a faulty assumption that you're making. Iran has been threatening war with the US since the 1970s.
No sensible President would ever do the things Trump has done. He's a deranged fool.
Unlawful without the consent of Congress.
How does it feel to be retarded?
I'll simplify it for you since you're just a little bit special...

The U. S. maintains limited military presence of approximately 2,500 U. S. military personnel in Iraq. The Iranian intervention in Iraq is ongoing and has been official since 2014. If an American President wants to attack Iranian leadership, weapon supply lines, or Iran-backed militant groups in Iraq they are already authorized to do so.

Political Games! That's all!
Trump has said no nukes for Iran. Case closed.
Curious. Why ask anon?
I’m all for it. Bomb them some more
I don't like it.
He’s got PE problem.
It is what it is…
