The United States bombed three nuclear sites in Iran, President Donald Trump announced Saturday on social media. The airstrikes are the first time the U. S. has conducted a direct military attack on Iran, and they further escalated a military conflict between Iran and Israel that began on June 13. "We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan," Trump said in a social media post, "All planes are now outside of Iran air space. - I appreciate Tlaib calling for peace, and a sort of balance in views, politically, but ultimately this is different because legitimate nuclear sites were essentially removed.

If no one was killed, I also don’t see any issue with it. I think it was tactful, in general, but Trump should expect retaliation, as well as the allied Israel.

I think what the countries want should’ve been made clear, from the start, and should be negotiated.

Otherwise, there’s just going to be a lot of unnecessary bloodshed. 🤦‍♀️

But it’s possible, that’s what unfortunately may be “needed,” in order for these countries to uphold SOME sense of humility or reverence, for their neighbors, both ally and non ally.

What should’ve been present all along was simply, basic respect and courtesy.

There shouldn’t be such terms (ally/enemy) being used in 2020s, where wars should not be evident, at all, nor mere facts of life/history.

Everyone should just be ‘co-inhabitants’ and ‘humanity;’ individuals who are respected.

This feels ALL uncivilized and not acceptable for us who are supposed to be “evolved” people, with supposed BETTER things to be doing. I’ll keep an eye on the articles for the next 72 hours…

I can’t say whether or not the president’s choice was the best one, and whether it was considerate of goals/desires/objectives. It wasn’t really a diplomatic decision of respect. It wasn’t a neutral stance but direct intervention. Ideally, extremely short..

BUT the effects of the decision was in Alignment* with diplomacy amongst allies, with consideration of civilian populations, and the wellbeing of allies, in regard to nuclear weaponry.

It wasn’t hostile maneuver, but disabling one. And it was tactful in terms of military enforcement.

Now all that can be done is see, if this escalates to a larger scale war, worst case scenario is global. But it will depend on each individual ally’s position whether they involve themselves directly or not. How they each will respond in these chain of events. Now we shall see if Iran will continue to engage or disengage. Israel as well.

Although, I thought the concept was good, I’m not sure how extensively complex these sites were and hoe close to civilians they have been. Nor how much nuclear power was located there. All military equipment and weapons of war are messy. Messy in cultivation of life. Messy in communications of human relations, and messy in nature/execution/precision of instrumentation. The impact and aftermath is always just that.

So to hit nuclear sites has me concerned about any toxic releases into the atmosphere as well as locally/nearby to those facilities, potentially endangering Iranian civilians, or having long term/long lasting effects and negative impacts on our atmosphere, affecting all humans equally.

Responsibility has to be demonstrated. Mindfulness. Not just detonations, or trigger releases. I don’t see how any of these wars are accomplishing anything legitimate. Guns on any level don’t seem to accomplish anything. Should just be used for a brain sick animal trying to attack us. Not on other humans. Communication and respect seem to be highly underrated. And political positions of influence as well as rights to weaponry severely abused.

It is Israel, who violated international law and article 51 of the United Nations Charter, in particular, for which they've been condemned by the international commission of jurists (ICJ). The Charter prohibits the use of force except with the authorization of the UN Security Council or in the exercise of the right of self-defense "if an armed attack occurs." No armed attack by Iran against Israel was occurring on June 12, or was about to occur, or was bound to occur unless prevented by the immediate use of force. There was no ongoing armed attack, incipient armed attack, imminent armed attack, or impending armed attack. Secondly, Tulsi Gabbard said back in March that the ioc had reported that Iran isn't building and isn't capable of producing nuclear weapons. Love some people's implication that Iran started the war somehow, or how they're acting like it was a grand success.

They don't know if it was a good decision for days, weeks, months, and years. Iran is the second most populous country in the Middle East. 91 million people, which is more than double Iraq. Aside from immediate risks, like starting a larger war with Iran, there obviously could be retaliation or disruption of the Straits of Hormuz. Destabilizing such a country can have horrific consequences far down the road. You could end up with wars, such as between Iran/Iraq. New terrorists are being created around the world, not just in Iran and then we're gonna start having terrorists attack again, like 9/11. You have the Suni/Shia divide which may very well exacerbate. If there is a revolution, then you have carryover issues, possibly with neighboring countries.

Also, gas prices are gonna go up and we'll see further cuts for essential programs. All in all, the poor, working class, and middle class will have to suffer so we can pay for this war being pushed by billionaires and ideological interests. Personally I fail to see anything positive or strategic about this decision.

Not to mention with China secretly backing up and arming Iran, this war could go on for years with devastating consequences for the economy, poor working class Americans and all the innocent Iranians caught in the midst, who will lose their lives and/or homes. The war in Iraq lasted for 8 years, costed approx 1 trillion dollars and resulted in the deaths of 1 million Iraqis, as well as 4,431 American soldiers, according to Google.

On top of that, Iran said that it anticipated these attacks and had already relocated everything. So the attacks were ineffective.
But that doesn't mean that Iran won't respond. It could shut off Saudi oil production. It has sophisticated cyber-warfare capabilities. It could shut down shipping traffic through the Straight of Hormuz. It could bomb U. S. bases in the region. All while continuing to obliterate Israel.

American boots on the ground would be suicidal. And a bombing campaign would be unsustainable and not much more effective than Israel's bombing campaign.

How much money and American lives is Trump willing to spend in doing Israel's bidding? What is going to happen to the U. S. economy due to fuel shortages?
What will happen to America's reputation when it get spanked again like it did in Viet Nam and Afghanistan.

He's going to promote himself as strong and decisive. But he has sided with evil and proven to be a pussy whipped simp for Israel.

Pointless war. There was a nuclear deal with Iran but Trump decided to stop it instead of trying to improve it.

Nethanyau has been praying for years and years that Iran is about to finish the nuclear bomb with no evidence. There are videos of him from 15 years ago saying that Iran is only "weeks away" from having the bomb. He has been wrong about this for almost 2 decades so why do we suddenly believe him? The US intelligence services and IAEA said only weeks ago that they have no evidence of Iran actively trying to build the bomb. Doesn't mean they are not laying the foundation to be able to do it if they feel like they need it, but it also means that there was no need to start a way instead of trying to negotiate like it was planned.

Nethanyau was in a weak position and he used the Gaza war to stay in power. Iran was not attacked because they could have had the bomb this year but because with Hamas and Hisbollah crushed, Iran was in a much weaker position so he used to opportunity to attack. With this he stopped all the criticism on his Gaza war and outplayed trump and dragged him into something he had no interest in.

Each person or even nation on Earth has a choice to make:

Behave civilly in the world the you live in. If you do not, sooner or later, the rest of us will lose patience and simply take you out.

If Iran considers really escalating this war, their Islamic regime will come to an end. Iran will once again become like it was before the Islamic Revolution in 1979. And, with the Islamic regime over, the groups they support, like the Houthis and Palestinian/Lebanese terror groups will come to an end too. This may finally end almost 80-year old Middle East "Lukewarm War". With that, the issue of Palestine will be resolved too.

This could be Trump's turning point in history if what I wrote above comes true. In that case, his status among historians will improve considerably and he will be considered like Reagan.

The thing about me is, I grew up believing that there is going to be a really bad war in the end times. And it is just a matter of time before it gets started. So I just focus on my own life and live it out the best I can. Now, if I could actually do something about what is going on in the world, that would be a different story.
