Why is this man naked?

This is the man who tried to assassinate President Trump and any other associate he could kill last Saturday. Video shows him rushing the gate fully clothed. The next time we see him he is handcuffed, face down and buck naked covered in a space blanket. What is not disclosed is why he was not wearing any clothes? Was this an attempt to avoid capture by covering himself with bacon grease so he could just slip out the back door or did the secret service decide that he might have some secret pockets to stash additional weapons.

That's probably standard operating procedure (SOP) to strip down guys who try to assinate the president.

They want his clothes to see if they can find any empirical evidence from them.

Suicide bombers are not usually too afraid to die or they wouldn't become suicide bombers in the first place.
The guy wasn't properly trained and expected to get caught when walking into the hotel with guns. This was intended more as posturing than a serious assassination attempt.
In a way he did you a favour reminding everyone that its not a good idea to let random people with weapons into the same building the president is in. Well some people probably consider it a excellent idea.

@Pohjolan He wasn't let in. He was inside the hotel the day before as a guest and reached the first security checkpoint from his starting position and was taken down when he failed to comply. He wasn't even on the same floor of the hotel as Trump. The attempted assassin was on the Terrace Level of the hotel and Trump was on the Concourse level and on top of that he was roughly 250 feet away as the crow flies that is if a bird could fly straight through 6 inches of concrete and rebar and several other walls. He wasn't close at all. A typical IED bomb vest has a blast radius of 30-100 feet in clear terrain.

It takes a highly skilled team that is well rehearsed to work together as a unit to carry out missions effectively. Many of the guys in the Secret Service are those well trained and rehearsed guys that have experience with close quarters combat because the are war veterans and have done it many times over and have survived, they are trained in counter terrorism, counter insurgency, counter sniper tactics, internal defense, etc. You guys are not and you think with no training or experience you can go alone and take out an entire building of experts.
