Gold goes up in times of conflict, when people feel that world events will reduce the value of stocks and bonds. So I would expect the end of the ridiculous Iran war will cause commodity prices to fall, including gold and oil, while stocks go up.

I trade the markets full time and unless there's a disruption it looks like it will settle in $3400-3800 range and hold. Most of us are shorting metals right now. I wouldn't buy.
