Yes, when the U. S. gives up and Israel is crushed. Then there will be peace in the region because Iran doesn't have any aggressive, expansionist policies like Israel or the U. S.
They are not going to defeat Iran, though. Iran will never surrender.

Every war ends. The questions that bother me are, at what cost? Will the cost justify the folly of old men this time? Was this war necessary or an act of greed vs religious dogma? Who will benefit? Why aren't those people fighting?

There is a history with wars. The war is won long before it's over. That's because the loser refuses to admit they lost, and keeps fighting We've seen it over and over again.

Iran has already lost. They just won't admit it. They will keep fighting, just like we've seen many times in history. The only way they can win is to keep fighting long enough that the other side gets tired of the war and stops. They can't win militarily though.

The fight in Iran is internal. The Iranian people need to take control, and KEEP control. Keeping control is the hard part. We've seen that before also.

The US is certainly not alone in wanting a regime change. But they can't stop at a regime change. They have to support it for years to come.

The war in Iran will be over when the fanatics no longer are viable. That could take years or decades.

Yeah, very soon! All of you were worried that the Venezuela thing was gonna be a forever war!! In the first place, neither of these are wars! And, secondly, that one only lasted about 12 HOURS! SOME FOREVER WAR!!!

Yes, I think that the US will end up bombing the power infrastructure the day after Easter and ground forces will take over Kharg Island, crippling their oil capabilities. The rest of the mullahs will either flee or be killed and a new regime will take place.

I think if Trump just doesn't leave and say he won , it goes on for one year or longer. But US is running out of Munition. Navy ships have been hit. 21 Planes/Helicopters have been destroyed. US has lost its Bases in Middle East. But if Trump leaves now , Israel gets destroyed by Iran. Israel is half destroyed now. There is a better than 50/50 a Nuke will be used against Iran.
