President Trump made an inspiring speech on the eve of Independence Day at the foot of Mt. Rushmore after having a flyover in the new Air Force One. He spoke of American Exceptionalism and the great accomplishments this country has had in it's relatively short history. He gave thanks to the founders whose patriotism and courage has made it possible.
He spoke optimistically about the future yet cautioned us on the threats that are on the horizon and reminded us all that we are blessed to live in the greatest country in the world.

His rambling addresses, full of braggadocio, hyperbole and historical inaccuracies, will never go down in history or be quoted like those of people like Lincoln, JFK or MLK.
When he speaks, it's like he is addressing rubes and morons.
Didn you really see it or did you just read about it in the Washington Post?
I watched the link that you posted. It was painful.
I don't read the WAPo, NYT, or any other publications. I don't watch or listen to any corporate media. I don't need anyone else to tell me what to think.
I thought it was a very measured speech that did not repeat the same thing over and over again.
Apparently he's planning a really long speech today to prove he can do anything.
Should inspire quite a few gag questions I'd imagine
Do you think egomaniac Donald Trump wants to be put up on Mount Rushmore as well?
I think it is a foregone conclusion.
He already has a large picture of himself outside of the DOJ, wants to put his face on money and passports, put his name on the building dedicated to an assassinated president and referred to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of Trump. I heard recently Palm Beach airport is also going to get renamed after Trump.
Sounds egomaniac to me.
Can you name a president who would NOT want their likeness added to Mt. Rushmore? I can only think of one.
@OlderAndWiser Joe Biden really believes that he was the best president we ever had and he should be on Mt Rushmore.
The only recent president who didn't have such an ego was Jimmy Carter.
Pretty damn good.
very nice!
