What assault rifle should replace the SA80 in the British Army?

Personally i think the RM277 if they go with 6.8mm but if they keep the 5.56mm round the IAR27 that the US marines are using which is a HK33 that's been made so that it can function as not only a assault rifle carbine but also as a designated marksman rifle and light machine gun.

Well the German H&K fixed the SA80 by replacing nearly every single part. Would be like if you paid your mechanic to fix your car and the only orginial parts left were the wheels.
HK33 is probably too expensive for the MOD to buy. Worth noting that the IAR27 that the US marines use and are getting is basically the HK33 but more expensive. The AR15 is so prolific now that if they were going to buy it the MOD could procure similar designs very cheaply from multiple companies
