Robert F Kennedy Jr, the US health secretary, on Sunday told American parents that they should get their children vaccinated against measles, as the surge in infections has reached numbers not seen in the past 35 years.

Kennedy, a leading vaccination skeptic who has spent years amplifying misinformation about vaccines, including the shot that protects against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), made his call in the course of a contentious interview with CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday morning.

His remark came as the incidence of measles crossed a milestone – the US has now officially recorded 2,371 confirmed infections so far this year, surpassing the total tally in 2025 of 2,289.

I saw the clip last night before seeing the ‘The Left Insurgency’ Documentary on CNN.
(it was shown on CNN, the clip not the documentary I saw it through a livestream).

RFK Jr. said he encouraged parents to get the vaccines, they’re safe, but didn’t take accountability because it was “international”. Like the fact it all over the country absolved him of any wrongdoing in his sabotage of vaccine coordination, misinformation spread, and years of harmful anti vaxxer rhetoric that grew Measles to a record level high amongst our population.
I would absolve RFK Jr. if he was some state local wacko of no real importance or title, but he works for The Federal Govt which oversees the whole country.

He is the damn Health Secretary for crying out loud. It is in his best interests to uphold public health and he is failing, so much so that the GOP has to bring in Fauci to answer questions for the Covid19 Pandemic so the public focuses on the past rather than present day Brain Worm policy this Administration has made that brought you Cyclosporine Outbreaks and Measles record high in decades.

It is wrong and he needs to be removed from his position, he clearly is a grifter who put innocent lives in jeopardy.

And to clarify what I meant by Brain Worm policy, I meant the insane backwards ass logic and pro corporate agenda that leads to more damage and more issues for the average people also a direct reference to RFK Jr’s Brain Worm which connects him to some of the bad things this government is responsible for.

Was he really against vaccines or just telling the maga base what they wanted to hear?

Conspiracy theories are great to put you in power but once there they just make you look a nutjob raging against overwhelming global medical opinion.

Then when kids start dying you've got to explain why you're ignoring countless scientists and basing your advice on YouTube videos.

Given people should be able to trust the dept of health I think there's a good case for manslaughter charges against him.
