One of the most hated woman ever is up for parole again on Nov 19, 2026. She received a conditional life-sentence of 30 years. She served 30 years and every 2 years, she is set up for a parole hearing. She strapped her two sons (3 year-old Michael and 14 month-old Alex) on the back seat of the car and rolled the car on the lake, watching them drown while hearing them screaming for their mom. I read that the older child was waving at her and they died holding hands. Besides burning alive, drowning is another horrific death. It gets even more ridiculous. She did that because the man she was having an affair with didn't want kids. Yet, she had the solution right in her face; hand the kids over to their loving dad and leave. The man would've gladly ditched her and raise those boys as a single father instead of the suffering he has undergone for over 30 years. She even lied at first, blaming it on a black man running off with the kids.
I find it unfair that she wasn't given an immediately life-sentence without parole. David, the father of those two boys will be coming to the hearing. He comes every two years (whenever she's set up for parole) to make sure she never gets released. I really hate that woman so much. My son will be turning 17 months old tomorrow, he says momma a lot and holds me. It's insane how any parent would hurt their own children and betray them in that horrible manner.

They should put her in a men’s prison. That would be closer to justice. We can only hope that South Carolina hasn’t shifted too far toward liberalism. Otherwise we can expect a bunch of crazy feminists to send her millions of dollars and fight to get Smith released. Fortunately she tried to frame a black man for her crimes. If sensible people can keep that detail prominent in conversations about her, at least SOME of the looney left will hedge their support for her. The intersectional victimhood arguments actually cause a fair bit of infighting among lefties.
Real justice would be if the boys' daddy was left alone in the room with her for a couple minutes. He talks about having forgiven her but wanting her to never be released.
I think her being locked up it's really what's keeping David from wringing her neck if she were ever released.
She should have received life in prison.
Yeah and it should've been truly life without parole. Now David has to relive the drama every 2 years, just to be sure she's not released.
Honestly if she were to get released, this is the only time I wouldn't blame a father going after the woman that killed his kids and unleash his rage.
Meh, maybe she can setup a donation fund. If she can raise a million, then she can buy a Trump pardon instead?
