... I'll be at work. Just another normal day for me, lol.

But on a serious note, as someone that's been single for ages, I typically treat myself to something nice- if not on Valentine's day, some half off treats the day after (singles awareness day). I don't let one day put me in a bad or depressed mood

When I was single I would go snowboarding the entire day. Literally isolating myself. I would also watch YouTube videos of couples catching each other cheating. It made me understand that being in a relationship doesn’t mean that everyone is exactly happy.

Ask yourself why you feel the need to do something on that holiday? Is the government telling you that you should quickly find a date and spend money on that day? Is it peer pressure or society saying you are weird if you don’t follow these norms? Why do you need to celebrate valentines day, which origins has nothing to do with love and sex?

Same stuff I do everyday. This doesn’t really play on men’s feelings the way it does w women. I could care less but I know if I don’t do something for my girl I’ll look like a jerk. It’s a money market scheme in my opinion, it plays on women’s emotions so most of you expect your man to do something for them. Most men could care less if they got a gift. Galentine’s day is another day that these businesses use to target women’s feelings.
