I did answer this question 2 days ago. Here is my plan for Valentine's day.

Oh Valentine's day.

Well, my day will probably look like that:

06:30 alarm clock rings, SueShe gets up.

06:45: I am doing my daily yoga routine and then

07:30 quick breakfast consisting of a small bowl of oats, skimmed milk (or skim milk for you Americans), 1/2 Greek yogurt, goji berries, cranberries, a handful of nuts like pecans or cashews, 1/2 banana or 1/2 mango.

08:00 shower

08:20 rehearsal of my lessons for the day

08:45 take my bike and ride to school

09:00 start of the day at school

16:00 ride my bike back home

16:15 arrival at home

16:30-18:00 house chores

18:30 dinner- usually a salad or something light

19:30 traditional phone call to my family

19:40-21:40 homework

21:45--22:30 reading a book or perhaps watching a (hopefully) good nature show

23:30 bedtime until the next morning when the entire rigmarole starts all over again.

To me, Valentine's day is no different than any other day of the week, so I am familiar with my routine. I am not in a relationship nor am I dating, so this 2/14 is a normal day.

My best friend is taking me to an expensive restaurant for lunch. I would only eat there twice a year cause that was all I could afford. She has been married for around 8-9 years now.

Nothing in particular. I love being single... it doesn't necessarily mean I hate females. It's just I can occupy my mind with more important stuff until I will find her sooner or later.

Even if you don't... what it struck me right away was, that if you still can't find her or anything in life - you automatically change your goals and set different ones which results into happiness. So being single is surviving by your own with coping strategies while on other hand couples live together.

I can't tell how much I have matured when I look back when I was 23, 21, 19, 20... I'd have cursed, be bitter to others... due to this... well... couldn't handle emotions

So I am very thankful that my personality has been developed to another notch.
