On Valentine's Day, guys basically want sex, great food, and for you to be happy about whatever he does for you.

A cute thing that has some fantastic shock value is going to his work earlier in the day to bring him "something". Wear a long coat (a midi-trench is great). Wear nothing or some risque lingerie underneath, let him have a peek, pop a chocolate in his mouth, then walk away. It'll be almost impossible not to laugh at the dawning of astonishment on his face :D

Or if he has a hobby, something small that's related to the hobby. Depends on your budget but on the lower end I've made a themed gift basket for instance one was a comfort and relax basket with memory foam slippers, CBD bath bomb (good for muscles), different things to pamper himself, comfy pj's and as a bonus a pair of tickets for him and his best friend to his favorite basketball team since I saw they were going to be here (and they neverrrr come here). Some other ideas are cologne, a massage... men like to be comfortable and pampered too even if they don't say so.
