*I DID*! Flowers delivered to my friend's office one year. Never again.

He was bummed at being dumped by his low-class idiot boyfriend and had been at my place crying for days. So I thought to surprise him with a "secret admirer" bouquet at the office.

He was strutting around and SO HAPPY, which was good, but then he thought it was from his ex and kept wanting to stop and call him and thank him so finally I had to tell him it was me... I was just trying to cheer him up.

You know? He wouldn't believe it till I went ahead and showed him the receipt?
