Why do 35+ guys date 20-year-olds?

Actually I have thought about this alot. First a man should like at a young girl for what she is. A young girl with her entire life and future ahead of her.Your is already on tract to where your going, Why do you think at 35 you should try to date a girl like this. Yes they are attractive but beyond physical what is there for both of you. Personally I think a man has some character issues if you are in this situation.

It's actually a very simple answer. Looks and their bodies. Ever wonder why rich old guys get younger attractive girls. That's the only reason. Someone attractive with a nicer body then girls their own age. Plus the girls will stay attractive for longer since they're younger.

Not making any sort of excuse on this one.

Single men at my age group have a far more difficult time finding women our age who is single, no kids, never married, no more than 3 divorces, no hangups and genuinely interested in men at all. Add in to the factor men who are not a "yes" type and it's sucks gall bladders with pickle juice for older men. Can't tell you how many women my age gave up on men altogether, or interested but the man better be tall, wealthy, fit, handsome and obedient to her will. Just when a man's cannot find anything at all: oh look, younger and eager women!

Do you see the social trap? Zero fun.

Also, my sister told it to me best why girls like older men in no particular order:
Car. House. Job. Money.

Not saying I like this mess, I just live on this planet.

It's not a simple answer. First off there's the raw animal attraction part of it. To quote Dr Phil, "men fall in love with their eyes first". We're visually stimulated first and foremost and the things we're naturally attracted to have a lot to do with a woman's reproductive ability. Facial symmetry, hip to waist ratio, skin tone, etc. It's just how nature made us. As women age it's difficult for women in their 30s and beyond to compete with women in their 20s. It may not seem fair, but that's just how the chips fell in nature.

The other reasons are mainly psychological. Validation, ego, etc. Start kicking in and mentally men find themselves more and more attracted to the younger women. In this regard it's not that the women 35+ don't appeal to them emotionally or whatnot, but it's in essence a way to cling to their youth.

There are few different answers to this question. Let me see if I can give a little insight. I am 36 years old, and the honest fact is that I find myself attracted to a variety of ages when it comes to women. But usually for different reasons.

One reason is because of the innocence factor. Even though some of the girls are a little wild, there are so many women that are dominant women out to prove something to the world or to the male race. They are soft and sensuous, yet forgiving. Where as older women carry a little more baggage over their lifetime, which makes them more cautious and guarded with their emotions. I also believe that this younger generations is having a certain sexual freedom instilled into them more so than the 30-50 year old range. The word "NO" seems to be something that is not heard quite as frequently.

The second reason is mid-life crisis. Though this does not apply to myself, a number of men start to feel their age creeping up on them, and they just want to prove that they can still get one of those "hot little numbers" that they used to have in their college days. But I believe you see this with women as well. They love to have some young studly buck come over and hit on them just as much.

But all in all, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Find your own courage to be the best woman you want to be, and I can guarantee that men will find that just as sexy regardless of age. Confidence is such a turn on.

So I am a woman. I just turned 30 and am currently seeing a 21 year old guy. I like him because he does not want anything from me except what I want to give him. I am not talking financially, I am talking physically. I was not looking for a relationship. I just got out of one (lasted 11 years, I was 18 when we met). All the men I have met around my age are crazy. They are tired of going out, having fun, they want to stay home and have kids. They want somethings that I can't give them. I don't know if this is the same for men or not.
