This girl I like is really confusing me. She's a really shy girl and she isn't the type to just go around flirting with a bunch of guys. I don't think she's into games but at this point I don't really know. She's either really interested in me and what I'm saying, or she's distant and not replying to my texts with much of anything. It changes and it's stupid.

I'd just like to know what the signs are that a girl (particularly a shy one) is leading you on. Because honestly I'm not even sure where our friendship is at anymore, let alone the potential of a relationship.

1. every time you have texts conversations is the same old small talk nothing new
2. she may agree to hang out but it never seems to happen
3. answers your texts one day then the next she doesn't
4. she never asks to hang out
5. she never attempts to call you

    You're probably right. Kind of sucks, but I'd definitely rather be pursuing a girl who is responding positively than one who really confuses me and makes things difficult.

    hmmm well maybe she isn't the girl for you if you feel the way you do. I don't think your clingy just seems like you want more and she isn't giving more.

    I just asked her if we were cool a week ago (she said yes and has been okay in person) and I think it'd be clingy to ask again.

    I mean we've talked on the phone like 3 times now and they were all over an hour long. She's just never called me first. But her texts have been distant and uninterested lately so that's a problem

    yea well if she really was into you she would try talking to you on the phone even if she didn't like it. someone who is really into you is going to answer all your texts cause they are going to be happy to hear from you.

    Not many of those happen. There's usually a reason if it's 3, and 5 is just because she doesn't like talking on the phone.
