My fiancee wants me to wear an engagement ring but I don't want to?

why not just wear a class ring? that's what my dad did.

Dont wear the ring if you don't want to. She is mad because she thinks you don't love her enough to show the world that you are engaged. Regardless of your reasons for not wearing it, she really can't change the way you feel. right?

Some people perceive rings as something that symoblizes your love for each other/someone. It symbolizes commitment, loyalty, etc. That is probably how your girlfriend feels. Since you have a different opinion on it, then explain it to her.
I mean, what is in a ring anyway? There are a lot of married guys out there who wear their rings, as they hit on another chick at a bar, or while they fool around with their mistresses. So, what does that mean? Like I said, we all have different perspectives.

Totally wear the ring. by wearing you're ring everyone knows shes taken and proud about it. if your not gunna wear it she might think that your not proud or too embarrassed to show it?

Dude, no shit, wear the damn thing. You're asking her to let the world know she's not available, why shouldn't she request the same of you? If a guy refused to wear an engagement ring I'd refuse to wear mine.

I've never heard of that...that's an odd request. I'd suggest getting a necklace or even a tattoo (ha!) something that is a little more aligned with what a guy normally does. Maybe that will satisfy her so this isn't a big deal for either of you.

I know many people who don't like to where rings. But if you want her to be happy the I would recommend you wear one. Because every guy I talk to tells me if the wife is not happy then there not happy. Man up put the ring on and smile.

Getting a necklace or a tattoo or anything will never be a ring. Ring is a symbol and everybody in the world knows it. What your girlfriend is asking is very valid request. If you want to get laid when you are not with her, just take it off ;)
