Dark orange
light Blue
or green
I am wearing Kakhi pants and Brown shoes as well, they are steel toed shoes. Will this be ok?
The lime green one in my opinion is to casual. Though it's a polo it's a color that says relaxation or day off

Navy or light blue is always a classic and well uniformed look but at the same time it's kind of safe

As for the orange one it gives a since of uniqueness/originality but at the same time it's still professional. To me it'll help you stand out from the rest

So the orange one is definitely my favorite but it's really up to you and the end. If it's a job you're going after that's pretty precise and uniformed you might just want to stick to blue. If the job isn't as strict I think the orange one can do you wonders!
Thanks for asking for my opinion and I hope this helps :)
Its a career fair, there's going to be like 30 or more companies there from nursing homes to restaurants and banks and factories etc...
I feel better with blue
yep, the brown she's are steel toed too
The guy in the blue shirt picture looks goofy though lol
you're welcome :) the green also looks like a big glow stick lol
Blue. Blues are some of the best colors to wear to a job interview/fair. Blue is calming, but also exudes confidence.
The orange and green are bright, and for creative jobs might be good... since those colors exude creativity. But it's not the best choice for all types of jobs.
I'm going for the blue lol
Of the three, the light blue seems the best. But why not wear a blazer and a nice button down with khakis instead. That may look a little more professional without forcing you to wear a suit. s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/.../...8befbac49a.jpg
I don't have that
Hmm do you have a dark button down shirt?
I have nothing button down
You may want to invest in a navy button down or something. Believe me, you are talking to a poor college student here, I know that interview/job attire is expensive. But it may be worth it for you to make a good impression. Or, if you have friends who are the same size, you could borrow a shirt? Do guys do that? Borrow each other's clothes?
Can't polos make a good impression?
Sure, but they certainly aren't as professional. They're more like football coach. Truly, a polo will probably be okay for a job fair (maybe not ideal), but it certainly won't be okay for an interview.
I've worn polos before and they went ok
I'm just telling you what I think. If you are set on a polo, go for it! You're the one who needs to feel comfortable. If you do that in a polo, then that's the best choice for you.
Unless it's a job for for golfers, you want to look professional and presentable!
Business casual!

are polo shirts not good enough?
Honestly, no.
No offense to the person that left this opinion but I would have to disagree. This is much more of a casual look of a well dressed person than one to seek a job. Presentation is everything and a look like that can differentiate a guy that knows and goes after what he wants and a guy that's just applying because well we all have to work.
@DivaMonae I'm not sure what you're saying. I'm not going to tell him to go in a suit, that is excessive. However, smart pants and a good, professional looking shirt (tie? optional - throw one in your bag just in case) show effort to presenting yourself well. The suit can wait for a formal interview and your first day. Do people get interviewed at job fairs? Sometimes, that's why the tie's in the bag.
@DivaMonae It was a poor example of business casual. The Asker should Google it.
Light blue looks good and professional.
you think?
Yeah orange looks like you're chilling with friends and green looks like you don't give a shit.
Blue looks elegant and professional. I have a shirt of the same colour.
Thanks for MHO

Can you find a really dark, almost burnt orange?
That color goes GREAT with brown. I also think it'll look the most professional without being boring.
The one I have is burnt orange almost brownish
I like light blue. Probably not orange. They will remember more about what you say. If they like you they will write a note down on the back of the resume you give them and put it in the "good candidates" pile
Sounds good
May I ask what is your major/targeted career you're going for?
There's going to be a myriad of companies there so I'm aiming for what I can get. I want to try to get on as a Dietary aide worker in a nursing home
So Nutrition/Dietitics?
more like culinary
Make sure to come home with a shoebox of business cards
Think I should go to every one of them regardless?
Well, there's only like what two hours tops? Get the list of companies beforehand go after your Top 5 first, and target the ones that pertain the most to you I'd say.
3 and a half hours
they all seem a little bit bright and in your face. i'd go for a darker more netural color, but the light blue seems okay.
think so?
i'll see how it goes
Either orange or blue but not green. The Orange makes you stand out and the Blue makes you look committed and loyal (blue is associated with loyalty).
Whats wrong with green?
So stick with orange or blue
It's worth a shot
the blue. neon colors are off putting and repellent
The lime green makes me look like a walking bar sign lol
i remember a professor of mine was giving a presentation on how important colors are and one of the slides were on neon colors and a lot of people looked away because the slide was neon green which she made to make a point to us and since i have avoided neon and just stick to pastels, black, or white.
Hmm, What was the point she made?
she was teaching us how psychologically colors are influential she told us blue means calmness, red means confidence, and neon is repelling.
Wow, I never thought colors made a difference
Lite blue in my own opinion and Best of luck, @smahala1991 :)) xxoo
I'm thinking blue too
Thank you
The blue. The other colors are a bit offensive with how bright they are.
Why would they look offensive?
I like the dark orange in combination with rest of the outfit you described.
You think so?
Any of those would be fine, but I personally think the second would be the best choic
*choice.
I agree with blue
i went with the blue because the orange and green hurt my eyes
everyone says that
Well that orange is very school spirit orange (ok, hint hint to my school)
But, I would go for a button down vs this style of polo.
I usually wear a suit and tie to those things
go with the light blue
None of these... shirt and tie with khakis for me...
What if you didn't have the shirt and tie or it wasn't required
Im thinking more of a red :)
Really, Why red?
hmm, I have orange
Defnitely the blue one.
Really?
Yep. Neons are okay in low doses... unless you want to glow in the dark.
or if you live close to a nuclear plant lol
i like the light blue.
Me too, Lime green looks so out of place, but Everyone says blue means loyalty
i didn't consider the meaning lol, just the colour that's easiest on the eyes.
true lol, I was going for blue too. But I thought what about the other two and maybe orange, but you're right blue is easier on eyes
Green looks like I just walked out of a nuclear waste facility lol
this should help
s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/.../...a09bba16ac.jpg
I'd go with the light blue.
Yeah, blue is more my color anyway
The light blue looks best.
you think so?
Yep. For a job fair light colors are better. The other two are too bright.
These colors will look good too: beige, white, and light gray.
Everyone says the green hurts eyes
I like light blue :)
I was going to wear orange but I'll just go with blue I guess
Oh ok :P
Blue is my color anyway
